Question: Can my Band or I get paid to play at The Space?

Answer: Yes, depending on the deal of the show along with how many people you can bring out. We try to help out traveling bands when ever possible, Pay is based on a variety of factors such as your draw, night of the week. slot in which your band is playing and more. We are as fair as we can possibly be.

Question: Where is The Space?

Answer: Good question, we are hidden to some GPS's so we've created a very useful Directions page so that people in and out of state to find us. The link is located above in the main navigation.

Question: Can I bring food or drink into The Space?

Answer: No, but we do have a wonderful Deli / Cafe where you can order meals, snacks and beverages. We provide bands with discount meal cards.

Question: How old do I have to be to get into The Space, do you sell alchohol?

Answer: We are an ALL AGES venue, anyone can come in an enjoy music. The Space does NOT sell alcohol and we prohibit alcohol inside our venue and parking lot . However, for all persons 21+ we have an additional music venue across the parking lot with great music and an extensive beer & wine list. Check out The Outer Space for more info. We do ask that children under 13 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents who are driving their kids from further away are welcome to come hang out in our 21+ lounge at The Outer Space.

Question: I lost something at The Space, do you have it?

Answer: We try to collect all things left behind by both guests and bands after every show. Equipment is often left and we hold onto it for no more than two weeks. For small items such as clothing and phones, we have a Lost & Found bin next to our ATM Machine. Bands looking for lost equipment can contact our Booking Office between noon and 4pm Monday-Friday.

Question: Can I rent The Space for a Private Party or Event?

Answer: Yes, depending on the day of the week, the kind of event you would like to host, and a few other factors we will discuss with you. For more information on rentals, contact our Booking Office listed above.

Question: What else is there at The Space?

Answer: A lot of neat things actually. We have an Arcade Room, a Vintage Boutique/ record shop , and a fully equipped Pro Tools HD Recording Studio. For information on the Studio and Pricing, contact Travis Bell. (203) 747 2082

Question: What happened to Open Mic on Tuesday's?

Answer: After 8 years of hosting an All Ages Open Mic at The Space, we decided it was time to try something new. So we've moved Open Mic to our 21+ Music Venue The Outer Space on Wednesday's and have started a Monthly Open Mic at The Space.
